	giving thanks As we approach Thanksgiving it is an appropriate time to reflect back on the things we are thankful for this year. Even though we are still dealing with the adversities of war, recession, unemployment and foreclosures, we all have much to be thankful for. In the midst of the economic downturn, nonprofit organizations have been hit especially hard. These organizations, which provide important community services, have all experienced cash-flow problems and declining operating support. That is why one of the things for which we are most thankful this year was our ability to help some outstanding local nonprofit organizations.
			asfv “Autism Society of the Fox Valley (ASFV) is a volunteer organization whose mission is to provide support and information about autism spectrum disorder to people touched by this disability in the Fox Valley area. With Leibold’s guidance, we decided that a website update would be the best way to meet our needs at this time. They took a great deal of time to find out about our organization, assess our needs and meet with us to design a site that is attractive and easy to navigate. The site is now up and clearly gives information about autism, parent/educator workshops, upcoming family events and fundraisers. 			design for the love of jazz! The Fox Jazz Fest, held every Labor Day weekend at Jefferson Park in Menasha, offers residents of the Fox Valley an opportunity to enjoy fantastic, live music for free. This year’s festival featured national and local musicians, a soloist competition and a guest artist clinic with Arturo O’Farrill. 			j.a. Junior Achievement teaches the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young people around the world. 			run 4 home The PaceSetters of the Fox Cities promotes better health through club programs, events and activities. In addition, the club contributes monetary gifts to other like-minded nonprofits and promotes member volunteerism to other organizations, nonprofits and charities. The club provides services to over 30 events during the year ranging from 5Ks to marathons. The PaceSetters “Run 4 Home” is a premiere event featuring a 5K run/walk and youth runs for fitness.
