| seeing is believing Simply put, visualization is the communication of an idea through the use of visual stimuli. Show me a picture of your idea and I’ll get it. Explain your idea to me, and, maybe not so much. Pictures help tell your story and they engage the imagination in ways that words alone cannot. The proliferation of 3D visualization as a design tool has exploded over the past decade. It’s used in the front end of the product development lifecycle to review and test concepts. It’s used in the back end to create promotional materials for traditional and new media, and it’s used everywhere in between to review and validate designs. The same technology that provides the special effects in movies like “Avatar”, and video games such as “Modern Warfare”, are being leveraged by consumer products companies and design firms to develop photo realistic representations of products that don’t yet exist. This use of 3D digital imagery at the earliest stages of product development creates opportunities for tremendous cost savings, enhanced decision making and improved speed to market. Interactive 3D allows the user to manipulate the model and view it from all angles, on shelf or in different environments, apply new graphics or change geometry, and all of it without building a single physical prototype. click here for more on 3D visualization click here to download an interactive 3D render | ||||

the rise of internet video Video currently accounts for more than one third of all consumer internet traffic and will reach 40% by the end of this year. The numbers are staggering. Cisco recently issued its Visual Networking Index forecast, showing the global online video community will surpass 1 billion users by the end of 2010. That makes the video user group equivalent to the third largest country in the world. Our recently completed R. Sabee corporate video is a perfect example of this trend. Adding video to their marketing arsenal gives them a professional sales tool, and worldwide exposure through free distribution on YouTube and their website. click here to view the video |
